DARREN WARREN HITS 6400 DOWNLOADS

"Cowboy Up and Party Down" Single Debuts in Top 50

(Nashville, Tennessee...) -- NuCorp Entertainment artist Darren Warren surpassed 6400 downloads in the short four weeks since his debut six-song Cowboy Up And Party Down EP hit digital stores. The title cut single broke the Top 50 on the Music Row Chart last week, and the corresponding music video is in Breaking Out rotation at The Country Network (TCN).

"It's exciting to see how people are reacting to this music," said Chuck Rhodes of NuCorp Entertainment. "The stations that are playing 'Cowboy Up and Party Down' and the video airplay are no doubt driving people to learn more about Darren and his music."

Darren heads to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis on September 22nd - where he spent almost three years of his life being treated for non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma - to perform for the Hospital's Volunteer Service Centers Summit. The 140 St. Jude staffers in attendance from call centers in Memphis and New Albany, Indiana recruit, communicate, and support volunteers for a variety of events that raise money for the hospital.

Darren has dedicated his life and music career to helping raise awareness and funds for the world-renowned hospital. A portion of the proceeds from virtually every aspect of Darren's career and NuCorp Entertainment will be donated to St. Jude.

DARREN WARREN RELEASES DEBUT EP

Randy Owen Makes Guest Appearance

(Nashville, Tennessee...) - NuCorp Entertainment artist Darren Warren had a dream come true this week, when his debut six-song Cowboy Up And Party Down EP was released digitally. The title cut single is gaining ground at country radio, and the music video hit the airwaves on The Country Network this week.

A cancer survivor who spent nearly three years being treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Darren has dedicated his life and music career to helping raise awareness and funds for the world-renowned hospital. A portion of the proceeds from virtually every aspect of Darren's career and NuCorp Entertainment will be donated to St. Jude.

Darren wrote or co-wrote four of the six songs on his EP. He's as comfortable blowing the roof off with songs like "Cowboy," "Southern Belle" and "Kentucky Friday Night" as he is slowing things down with "You're My Angel" and the autobiographical "The Way God Made Me."

Probably the most moving song on the EP is "Go Get My Angel," a song he wrote about a little girl who lost her battle with cancer while he himself was receiving treatment at St. Jude. Alabama lead singer Randy Owen, who helped found Country Cares for St. Jude Kids in 1989, was so moved by the song and Darren's own story, he came in to sing on the track. "It's one of the most life changing songs I have ever written by far," said Darren, "and I was so honored to have Randy come in to sing on it."

the ribbon to officially open the St. Jude Dream Home in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He purchased the first ticket for the giveaway and welcomed guests as they toured the beautiful home. The three bedroom/two bath home is valued at $325,000 and will be given away on September 18, 2011.

(Nashville, Tennessee.)  NuCorp Entertainment, which was recently started by veteran Country Music artist manager Jeff Carver and businessman Joe McDaniel, shipped the debut single from the label's flagship artist Darren Warren this week. The no-holds-barred "Cowboy Up and Party Down" was written by Eddie Kilgallon, and the single was produced by Doug Grau.  Darren is set to embark on a nationwide radio promotion tour, and the corresponding music video will begin hitting airwaves in June.
"It's a dream come true for any artist to release a single but for me, it's a dream come true to be able to release something that is so much a part of who I am," said Darren. "'Cowboy Up and Party Down' is just me! It's the way I talk and the life I love, and I feel so blessed to have the chance to share a little part of myself with the world."
Music industry veteran Chuck Rhodes will oversee all promotion, marketing and distribution for NuCorp Entertainment. Nine North/Turnpike Music has been retained to promote "Cowboy Up And Party Down" to both Mediabase and BDS singles charts, and Regina Raleigh will handle radio promotion for Music Row and small market radio stations.
Darren's self-titled EP will hit stores later this summer. The six songs are filled with slice-of-life tunes that audiences can instantly relate to. The "Cowboy Up and Party Down" video was directed and produced by Fresh Films Glenn Sweitzer.
A native of the Paducah, Kentucky area, Darren's Warren has one of the most unique stories in country music, although it's not a story he chose to write. At age 16, he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and spent the better part of the next three years receiving treatment at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.  He has now been in remission for over nine years. In keeping with his vow to raise awareness for the hospital and the care he received, Darren has called or visited over 80 radio stations hosting Country Cares for St. Jude Kids radiothons this year alone.
